Privacy

The short version: by default this site sets no cookies and runs no tracking. The one exception is opt-in: the Meta pixel for ad measurement, and it loads only after you agree in the cookie banner. Beyond that, the only personal data we touch is the email you give us for the free trial, plus the technical minimum any web server needs to deliver a page.

Hosting (Vercel)

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you open a page, Vercel technically needs to process your IP address and standard request data (time, requested URL, browser/system information) and keeps short-lived server logs. We see this data only in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in serving this site securely and reliably, including protection against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel acts as our processor under a data processing agreement. For transfers to the USA, Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the agreement additionally includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Details: Vercel privacy policy.

Free trial & email (Brevo)

If you request the free trial, we use your email address to send you the download link and the emails that belong to your trial. The flow is double opt-in: you get one confirmation mail first, and only after you click it is your address stored on our list. If you never confirm, nothing is subscribed.

We send these emails through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), 17 rue de Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France, acting as our processor under a data processing agreement. Brevo hosts this data on servers in the EU; where individual Brevo sub-processors sit in the USA, the transfer is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. To document your opt-in, Brevo logs the date and time of your sign-up and confirmation click. Details: Brevo privacy policy.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time — every mail carries an unsubscribe link, or just write to info@sinee.de. We keep your address until you withdraw; the opt-in record itself is kept as proof of consent for as long as the law requires us to be able to demonstrate it.

Contact by email

If you email us, we use your address and what you wrote to answer you — nothing else. Legal basis: performing or preparing a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering your message (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the conversation as long as needed to handle your request and any statutory retention periods.

Cookies & tracking

This site runs exactly one tracking tool, and only if you allow it: the Meta pixel, which measures whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram work. Nothing loads before you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner; pick “Essential only” and the site stays completely tracker-free. Your choice is stored in your browser (“sinee-consent” in local storage) so we don’t ask again on every visit, and you can change it here anytime: .

With your consent, the pixel (provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland) sets cookies and reports ad-relevant steps on this site to Meta: page views, viewing the product, requesting a trial, clicking through to the shop. Meta uses this to attribute a later purchase on sinee.de to the ad that brought you, and may transfer the data to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. For this collection we and Meta are joint controllers (Art. 26 GDPR). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Withdrawing it stops the pixel for the future; cookies it already set can be deleted in your browser. Details: Meta privacy policy.

Separate from the pixel, and running without consent because it stores no tracker and calls no third party: if you arrive here through an ad or campaign link, the address bar may carry campaign parameters (fbclid, utm_source and the like). We keep those values in your browser’s session storage for the duration of the tab and re-attach them to the link when you continue to the sinee.de shop, so a purchase there can be matched to the campaign. The values are never sent to us and vanish when you close the tab.

Your rights

Access
Ask what personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR).
Rectification
Have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR).
Erasure
Have your data deleted (Art. 17 GDPR).
Restriction
Have processing of your data restricted (Art. 18 GDPR).
Portability
Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR).
Objection
Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
Withdraw consent
Withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR) — for trial emails, the unsubscribe link or a short mail is enough; for ad measurement, the Cookie settings link under Cookies & tracking.

To exercise any of these rights, one mail to info@sinee.de is enough. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR) — the one responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, ldi.nrw.de, but you may contact the authority where you live instead.

Providing data on this site is always voluntary — without an email address we simply can’t send the trial. There is no automated decision-making here; ad measurement runs only with your consent (see Cookies & tracking above).
